11 school days until the EOCT.

the countdown has started!!! and the EOCT is coming up SO, SO, SOON! please try your best to be at school every day. you will miss a lot of vital information on the days you are out, and it will be hard to catch up.

back from spring break.

hope everyone had a great break! i haven't had the chance to see you/talk to you yet, since i had math training today and was not at school!

today you did test corrections on your UNIT 5 test. you hopefully learned from your mistakes, and can do better on the re-test tomorrow (which everyone will be taking). you will only re-test on the standards you did not master.

for the standards you do not master, you will be working on a standards packet! it is your goal to master each standard from this unit!

happy spring break!

during spring break, it would be a GREAT IDEA to get started on your USAtestprep.com project. (you received the sheet today in class.) for each domain (there are ten total), you have to do a 10 question beginner practice, 10 question random practice, and a 10 question domain test. these results will automatically be sent to me. your sheet that was given to you is to help you keep track of your progress!

instructions to help you get started on your USAtestprep.com project:
1. log on to usatestprep.com (school ID: druidhills)
*if you forget your username, please e-mail me at katie_m_koerten@fc.dekalb.k12.ga.us and i can give it to you!*

2. when you are at the homescreen, click on the tab that says "EOCT Tests." at the drop down menu, select "Mathematics 1."

3. scroll down and click on the tab that says "Practice."

4. this is where you will select a domain. there are ten to choose from. once you select a domain, click on "10 Beginner," "10 Random," or "10 Domain Test." you will do each of these for each domain. *for extra credit, you can do the Games for each domain. click on the "Games" tab and choose which game you want to play!*
