test day...notebook check tomorrow.

today was test day...you took the End of Unit 4 Test, the second test of the semester.  you also re-tested the mid-unit test.  you will get your tests back tomorrow!!


homework: get your notebooks in order. they will be checked tomorrow!


tomorrow we will be doing test corrections and filing all of our papers from Unit 4!

tomorrow is test #2 of the semester.  you will be tested on quadrilaterals.  you will also be re-tested on the standards you have not mastered from the first test.

test two on tuesday.

this past week, we finished UNIT 4 by studying kites and trapezoids.


homework: UNIT 4 Review #9-14 - solve the problems and list the properties used! also, get a parent signature on your review

rectangle, rhombus, and square practice.

today you received your quizzes back.  with a majority of students not being as successful as we had hoped, we decided to spend one more day reviewing rectangles, rhombuses, and squares.  tomorrow we will move on to kites and trapezoids!

four days off.

we have a longggg weekend with both friday and monday off!  this would be a great time to get some extra practice with quadrilaterals since there are so many properties that you need to know!

why is tomorrow a big day?  well, it's our FIRST TEST!  tests are 35% of your grade in this class, which is a big chunk of your grade.  you will be taking the UNIT 4 Mid-Unit Test which will be testing the following standards:

review today. review tomorrow.

this wednesday we are having our first test...the mid-unit 4 test!  today we started to review and worked in stations.  this test covers 4 standards.

1st period: finish MM1G3 a (the first page!)
3rd period & 4th period: finish MM1G3 a, b, c (the first 3 pages!)


also, make sure to get the parent/guardian signature on the review

center of the triangle.

today we added four new words to our vocabulary: incenter, circumcenter, centroid, and orthocenter.  these are all centers of a triangle created by the triangle constructions we reviewed yesterday.
