triangle constructions.

today we took a quiz on congruent triangles. after the quiz, we reviewed triangle constructions. (you all learned how to construct these back in middle school: median, angle bisector, perpendicular bisector, altitude.)

homework: rewrite the triangle construction definitions on the back of the worksheet.

thanks to all the students who stayed after school to decorate for valientine's day! it looked lovely :)

today we took our 2nd "show me what you know..." which was over the standard MM1G3 b (triangle inequality theorem, side-angle inequality theorem, and exterior-angle inequality theorem).

the adventures of poly gon.

today you took the first quiz of the semester!  i'm expecting all A's :)

today we began UNIT 4, which is all about polygons!  we took notes on polygons and then filled out a polygon chart with interior and exterior angles.

the first week back.

welcome to the start of 2nd semester!!!  i'm excited to have a lot of you back in my class for the second part of math 1 (now called GPS Algebra, Geometry, & Statistics), and i'm also very excited to have a lot of new faces in my class!
